Dr. Mark Parzynski has has been hand making tools for acupuncturists, physical therapists and massage therapists under the name AcuArtisty for over a decade. As a trained jeweler with a BA in Studio Art, Mark has applied his artistry and technical understanding of metallurgy to making the finest heirloom quality tools. As a licensed acupuncturist, he understands the balance needed to effortlessly use one of these tools in a clinical setting. Each item is handmade with the greatest possible care, using only the finest materials. Quality can not be mass produced. Each item is made with the same thought and focus a practitioner would use while working with that item.

Gua Sha ToolThis tool is just over 3.5" x 2.25" and is handmade from copper with subtle curves to comfortably hug your client's body as you work. The ergonomic shape makes this tool easy to handle while reducing hand fatigue. Now featuring a burnished satin finish that enhances grip when using oils and salves. The edges are comfortable for traditional Gua Sha or IASTM. The domed face is well suited for scar therapy and other pulling techniques. Besides being naturally antiviral and antimicrobial, over time the copper will take on a beautiful and unique patina that exemplifies the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi.

TeishinThis Teishin is handmade using solid fine silver, 14k gold or copper and features an 1/8” by 3” shaft. The rounded tip is perfectly suited for gentle rubbing and pressing techniques while the tapered tail allows precise treatment of individual points. The ribbed shaft provides extra grip and the ability to perform scraping and vibratory techniques.

Enteishin
Enteishin are gentle, multi functional tools used in traditional Japanese acupuncture as well as modern trigger point therapy. The tapered end is used as a Teishin and the larger end is used as an Enshin. They are handmade from solid sterling silver or copper, and measure 1/4" thick by 3 1/2" long.

EnshinAll Enshin are individually made, from solid sterling silver, using a traditional sand-casting method. Sand-cast tools have an organic look with slight surface variations. Each tool is unique, beautiful and functional.
